On 29 July 2026, passed away peacefully in Wellington, aged 92 years. Dearly loved father of Stephen & Pauline, Julie-Anne & Tony, and Donna & Peter; granddad of Michael & Hannah, Simon & Jorgi, Cameron; Mark & Kirsty, Kieran, Breanna; and Millie; and his great-granddaughters. Former husband of Joyce; former companion of Sarah, and friend to James, Robert & Chanel; and 'poppa' to Jessica & Oliver. Much loved by his brothers and sisters, wider family, friends and others whose lives he touched. Special thanks to the staff of Longview Rest Home for their wonderful care of and friendship to Barry. In accordance with Barry's wishes, a private cremation will take place, with a private family memorial service to be held at a later date.

Gone to be with his beloved Mum.
