On Friday, 19th June 2026. Peacefully at Mary Potter Hospice, surrounded by his family, aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Gloria. Much loved father and father-in-law of Gareth & Julie, and Natalie & Te Whiti. Adored Goong Goong of Lily, Thomas, Hamish, Annabelle and Sophie. Loved brother of Jim, Dorothy, Rona, and Marion and their families. Messages and tributes can be placed in Allan's tribute book at www.hcfh.co.nz where you can also join the service via livestream. Grateful thanks to all the staff at Mary Potter Hospice for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Allan, donations labeled to the Mary Potter Hospice or The Wellington Chinese Sports and Cultural Centre can be left at the service.

A service to celebrate Allan's life will be held at The Pines, 50 The Esplande, Houghton Bay on Thursday, 25th June 2026, at 11.00am. A shuttle service will be available from Princess Bay Carpark to take you up to the Pines.
