On August 7, 2026 peacefully at Lansdown Court, Masterton, aged 76 years. Much loved husband of the late Ruth. Cherished father and father-in-law of Nigel, Sharon (deceased) and Gerard Penman, Adrian and Raluca, and Bevan. Loved Grandad of Alex, Nicholas, Louis, Gemma, Madeline and Amelia.

A service to celebrate Ian's life will be held in Wairarapa Funeral Services Chapel, 35 Lincoln Road, Masterton, on Thursday August 13, at 11.00am, followed by burial at Riverside Park Lawn Cemetery, Masterton.
