On 2 September 2026, peacefully at Waikato Hospital, surrounded by her loving family; aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late David. Loved mother of Helen, Sue, and Libby. Loved mother-in-law of Lee, Paddy, and Rua. Loving grandmother of Patrick, Kahu, and Ryan, and loved sister of Barbara, and the late Joe.

A service for Marian will be held in the St Andrew's Anglican Church, 85 Hamilton Road, Cambridge, on Tuesday 8 September 2026 at 12 noon, followed by private cremation.
