Peacefully passed away at Rhoda Read Continuing Care on Saturday, 13th June 2026, aged 82 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Muhammad Shafi Chatha. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Arshad and Sajada and their partners. Loved Nan to her grandchildren. Prayers for Bashiran have been held, followed by burial at Ngāruawāhia Muslim Cemetery.
