Passed suddenly on Tuesday 4th August 2026 at Westown Golf Club, aged 73 years. Dearly loved husband of Cathryn. Cherished Dad of Simon and Hailey, Alana and Brook Murfitt, Natasha and Anthony. Adored Grandad of James, Claire, Noah, Freya, Inez, Jasmine, Liam, Zaydyn, and Amelia. Loved brother of Diana and Sheryl. A special friend to many. A service for Wayne will be held in St Joseph's Catholic Church, Powderham Street, New Plymouth, on Monday 10 August at 11:00am, followed by interment at Mangapouri Cemetery, SH3. Wayne's service will also be livestreamed at https://vimeo.com/event/6098308
