It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert Edward Surrey (Bob) on 12th July 2026 at Taranaki Base Hospital, surrounded by his family. Loving and adored husband of Kay, amazing father and father-in-law to Kevin and Gaylene, Carla and Stephen, Grandad to Jamie-Lee, Anastasia, Libby, Rylee and Mishka, and Great-Grandad to Lincoln and Willow. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at the Holy Trinity Church, Henui Street, Fitzroy, on Monday 27th July 2026 at 11.00am. We would love if you could wear something bright as Bob loved bright flowers and was passionate about his bright Tulips. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Hospital Staff from ward 4A, Heatherlea Rest Home and a special thank you to Hospice, Dr Egli and his staff.
