2 July 1934 – 25 July 2026 Owen passed away peacefully on Saturday 25th July 2026 at Te Rangimarie Hospice, New Plymouth, aged 92. Loved husband of Jean, father of David and Nyrell (Perth), Craig and Andrea (Walvis Bay), and Bronwyn and Peter (New Plymouth). Beloved Grandad of Jade, Jason, Kristy-Lee, Natasha, Brooke, Alexandra and Emmeline. Loved Uncle and Great-Grandad to many. A private cremation has already been held. Passed away peacefully on Friday evening, 24 July 2026, aged 89 years. Loved wife of the late Donald Hine, cherished daughter, sister, much-loved aunt, and treasured friend whose warmth, kindness and light touched the lives of many. Well known through her lifetime in retail and her involvement in travel, charity and community groups. A celebration of Joy's life will be held at 10.30am on Wednesday 29 July 2026, at the Taranaki Crematorium, Junction Road, New Plymouth. For those unable to attend, Joy's service will be livestreamed via https://vimeo.com/event/6072703 The service will be followed by refreshments at Divine Café & Bar, Somerset Retirement Village, Bell Block.
