Phyllis WAY

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend Phyllis May Way, who peacefully passed away in her sleep on 2nd September 2026 at 90 years old. She is fondly remembered and dearly missed by her children Jean, Robert, and Pat (deceased); her grandchildren Tommy, Daniel (deceased), Matthew, Natasha and Aiden; her many great-grandchildren; and by the memory of her late husband Donald Way. The family also asks that in lieu of flowers, donations are directed towards Taranaki Hospice 15-3948-0365008-080 or Taranaki Cancer Centre 15-3942-0837510-00, the family thanks you all for your kindness and care near the end of Phyllis' journey.

A service to celebrate Phyllis' life will be held at Vosper's Chapel, 257 Devon Street East, New Plymouth, on Tuesday 8th September, at 10.30am, followed by a private family burial.
