Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday 6 August 2026, aged 86. Deeply loved husband of Janet for 64 years. Adored father and father-in-law of Judith & Herman, Robyn & Darrin, Karen & Graham, Steven & Candice, and Diane & Tim. Very loved Poppa of his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 15th July 2026. He leaves behind his deeply loving partner Shuna, and his two devoted daughters Emma and Sara who will cherish his memory. Loved Gran of Oliver, Il'ya, Kaydence, Nevaeh, Summer, Makena, Lachlan and Zoe. Much loved little sister of Gavin, Bryson and Clarry, and sister in law of Mike and Sue. Peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital after a short illness on Sunday, 14 June 2026, in her 89th year. Loved soulmate and best friend of Roy for 72 years. Loving and caring Mum of Jillian & Russell Millar, Andrew & Viv, and Dean and Robyn. Cherished Grandma of Paul, Cindy, Jimmy; Stephanie, Ashleigh, Jason, Jeffery, and Nathan. Adored Great-Grandma of Tyler, Amelia, Ellajae, Indie, Maddie, and Zoe. Loved friend of Jocelyn, and Leonie. A special thanks to the team at Taranaki Base Hospital especially Bailey Mullin for your care of Merle. Peacefully on Thursday 4 June 2026, after a short illness. Loved daughter of the late Mollie and John, and sister of Michael (UK). Loved wife of the late Ron. Sister-in-law to Virginia Perry (Dunedin). Caring cousin, aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt to her wider family. A member of the Anglican Roman Catholic Commission for the Province her commitment to ecumenical relationships was just one feature of her diverse and significant ministry. Clear thinking, straight to the point and pastorally sacrificial, some of the most significant contributions Pat has made to the well-being of so many people remained unseen and unacknowledged.
