Side by side in life, and now together in rest.

Maurice passed away beside Margaret "his rock, his everything", on Monday 28th September 2026. Margaret slipped away 57 hours later on Wednesday 30th September 2026, surrounded by family. After 71 years of marriage, their final wish was to be together. Much-loved parents and parents-in-law of David Drought, Glenyss and Chris Werder. Cherished grandparents of Maree and Nick, Tania and Linas, Adelle and Jono, William and Trinity. Proud great-grandparents of Mia, Aidas, Kate and Zoe. Special thanks to the staff at Trinity for all their care and support. A joint celebration of their love and lives will be held at a later date. Details will follow and will be updated on Hardings' website.
