Peacefully at Jean Sandel Rest Home. Cherished wife of the late Kevin. Greatly loved mother and mother-in-law of Stephen & Gail, Garry(dec) & Jan, and Reverend Kevin. Treasured Granny of Rory, Dana & Ashley, Shaelagh & Tim, Kate & Wei, Jeremy & Katherine, Lucy & Willie, and her great-grandchildren Poppy, Lily, Hazel, Finn, George, and Summer.

Called by God and now in his care.

Messages to the Brophy Family may be left on Rose's tribute page at eagars.co.nz/rose. Requiem Mass for Rose will be celebrated at Our Lady Help Of Christians Catholic Church, 24 Clinton St. Fitzroy, on Friday 3 July 2026 10.30am, followed by a private burial at Okato Cemetery.
