Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday 6 August 2026, aged 86. Deeply loved husband of Janet for 64 years. Adored father and father-in-law of Judith & Herman, Robyn & Darrin, Karen & Graham, Steven & Candice, and Diane & Tim. Very loved Poppa of his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Ian's life will be held at Knox Church Waitara, 17 Grey Street, Waitara, on Friday 14 August 2026 at 10.30am, followed by a private burial. For those unable to attend, Ian's service will be livestreamed via his tribute page.
