On Sunday 2nd August Alan went to rest with his daughter Marika, and is survived by his children Acushla-Tara, Chelsea-Renee, Melissa-Sue, Jessie, Tamaari & Te Poutokomanawa, and the mothers to his children Linda, Gillian, and Dinah. Alan will be lying in state at his son Tamaari's home at 149 South Road in Hāwera from Wednesday morning. Whānau and friends are welcome to come and pay their respects. A service will be held at Normanby Hall on Ketemarae Road, Friday 7th August at 1.30pm. Afterwards everyone is welcome to join the whānau at Hāwera cemetery where Dad will be laid to rest, followed by kai and kōrero at the South Taranaki RSA.
