Unexpectedly but peacefully at home on June 18, 2026, aged 88 years. Loved husband of Alison (Jean). Loved father of Kenneth (Mick)*, loved father and father-in-law of Lynley and Peter Michel (Waikaia), and Chris and Jane (Winton). Beloved Pop of Tyler and Connor Wells and a loved PopPop. A celebration of Max's life will be held at Winton Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 11.00am, followed by light refreshments then interment at East Winton Cemetery.
