Passed away peacefully following a sudden medical event in Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by family and smothered in love from near and far, aged 77 years. Adored Mum and mother-in-law of Craig and Kristy Thomson, and Ngaire and Damon O'Donnell. Treasured Nan of Matthew*, Makayla, Rhys, Joshua, Cory* and Emma. Cherished third child of John* and Florence* McNamara. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Yvonne* and Kevin* McRae, Des and Coral McNamara, Wendy Wilson, Mervyn* and Diane McNamara, Jacqui and James McKenzie, and Bevan (Spud) and Joy McNamara. Proud Aunt of her many nieces and nephews.

Carol was a woman of Courage, Adventure, Resilience, Optimism and Loyalty.

Always loved and loving and will be forever missed.

A service to celebrate Carol's life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Thursday, August 6 at 11.00am. Messages to McNamara Family, C/- PO Box 1345, Invercargill 9840.
