Peacefully passed away at Southland Hospital, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, September 22, 2026; aged 63 years. Soulmate of Annie. Cherished father and father-in-law of Ricky and Jenny, Jarred and Lisa, and Rory and Gitu. Cherished grandad of Max, Katie, Liam, Freya, Ashriya, and Ollie. The family would like to say thank you to the staff at Hospice Southland and at Mercey Cancer Care. Glenis and family would like to thank everyone for their overwhelming support during the passing of our loved husband, father and grandfather-Maiatua (Willie). Thank you for the visits, food, cards, phone calls, messages, flowers, koha and love during this sad time. Special thanks to the Medical ward at Southland Hospital for their care, Queen's Park Medical Centre for their kindness and support. Pacific Island Advisory and Cultural Trust for providing the venue for the cuppa, Pacific Island Advisory and Cultural Trust Pa Metua group for providing the food following the service.
