Passed away peacefully at Rowena Jackson, Invercargill September 3, 2026, aged 94 years. Dearly loved and cherished husband of Eileen*. Loved and treasured Dad and father-in-law of Julie and Dean Pope, Lynley and Sergio Cruz, Helen and Chris Eckhold, Susan and Colin Muijs. Treasured Grandpa of Andrew, Rachel and Jason, Desiree, Justin, Lisa and Sean, Rachel, Connor, Jessica, Lincoln, and Ethan. Loved son of James* and Ann* Murray (Forest Hill). Dearly loved twin brother and brother-in-law of David and Katie* Murray. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of James* Murray and Audrey and Alan* Paterson, John* and Phemie* Murray, Lewis Grieve, Ethel and John* Johnston, Joyce* and Bill* Wilson and Russell McPherson*, Morrie and Valmai Grieve. Dearly loved uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Reunited with his love, Eileen, and resting in the presence of his Saviour. Special thanks to the team of Edinburgh Wing, Rowena Jackson, for their loving care of Andrew. Additionally, to RDNS for many years of support when Andrew lived at home.
