Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 12 August 2026, aged 98 years. Dearly loved wife of late Pene (Ben). Loved mother of Judith, Pamela, Pene (Ben), Anne (all dec), Shirley, and Janet. Loved great-great, great, and Nana to many. Shirley will lay at rest at 44 Sutherland Crescent, Westbrook.

A service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held at Beauchamp Crematorium Chapel, 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Palmerston North, on Monday, 17 August 2026, at 11am.
