Rodney WILSON

(JP, Retired) Passed away peacefully on Sunday 13 September 2026, aged 79 years, surrounded by his family. Now at rest after a lifetime devoted to his beloved home, Cross Hills Gardens. Devoted husband of Faith for 54 years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Scott and Angela, and Rachael and Kam. Treasured Poppa of Ruby, Henry and Eddie. Dearly loved son of the late Eric and Merle; dear brother and brother-in-law of Graham and Anne, and Pauline and Alan (both deceased); and a valued brother-in-law of Karen and Mike (deceased), and Layton and Vena. A much-loved uncle to his nieces and nephews. We are deeply grateful for the love and care Rodney received from his caregivers and nurses at Coombrae and Woodlands Rest Homes.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson's New Zealand would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A funeral service to celebrate Rodney's life will be held at the Feilding Funeral Chapel, 282 Kimbolton Road, Feilding, on Friday 18 September 2026 at 11.00am, followed by interment at Kimbolton Cemetery.
