Passed away peacefully at Julia Wallace Retirement Home, with his children by his side, on Wednesday 8th July 2026, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Lynne. Much loved and cherished father and father-in-law of Richard and Kuniko, Andrew and Chihiro, Nicola and Mark Pilgrim. Loved and treasured Granddad to Ben, Tyler, and Kate.

A service for John will be held at Beauchamp Crematorium Chapel, 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Palmerston North, on Tuesday 14th July 2026 at 2.30pm.
