MEEK, Peter. Peter passed away peacefully at Princess Alexandra Hospital on 2 August 2026, aged 94 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Marjorie Meek. Loving father to Alan, Raewyn and Stephen, and father-in-law to Graeme and Bruce. Loved Grandad to Nicholas and Shelby, Alexandra and Mike, Cameron, Zoe and Damon, Georgia and Guy. Great-Grandad to Ardie, Olive, Ezra, Ada and Bea. Special thanks and appreciation to the wonderful nurses, carers and all staff at Princess Alexandra Hospital for the care, love and compassion shown to Peter over the past 5 and a half years.

A memorial service will be held for family and close friends in the Beth Shan Chapel, 157 Georges Drive, Napier on Saturday, 22 August at 1.30pm.
