THODEY, Garry Alan. 12.10.1946 - 10.08.2026 Peacefully at Hastings Hospital, aged 79 years. Loved partner of Ali. Dad of David and Karen. Grandad of Nigel, Danielle, Leetisha, Raewyn, Ethan, Anica-Lee and Hayley, and great- grandad of eight. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Ray and Bev (Auckland), Kevin (Taradale), John and Lorraine (Taradale), and Rosie (Nelson). Special thanks to Ward B1 at Hastings Hospital for their exceptional care of Garry. In accordance with Garry's wishes a private cremation will be held. Garry will be missed by all.

KAYE, Bernard James (Bernie). Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, 6 August 2026 at Princess Alexandra Village, aged 88 years, after he had been convinced that the job was completed. Retired engineer, dearly loved husband, brother, father and most importantly, Isabella's loving Grandad. With thanks to the Princess Alexandra staff for their dedicated care and attention in Bernie's final months. A celebration of Bernie's life will be held in the Beth Shan Chapel, 157 Georges Drive, Napier on Wednesday, 12 August at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. MEEK, Peter. Peter passed away peacefully at Princess Alexandra Hospital on 2 August 2026, aged 94 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Marjorie Meek. Loving father to Alan, Raewyn and Stephen, and father-in-law to Graeme and Bruce. Loved Grandad to Nicholas and Shelby, Alexandra and Mike, Cameron, Zoe and Damon, Georgia and Guy. Great-Grandad to Ardie, Olive, Ezra, Ada and Bea. Special thanks and appreciation to the wonderful nurses, carers and all staff at Princess Alexandra Hospital for the care, love and compassion shown to Peter over the past 5 and a half years. A memorial service will be held for family and close friends in the Beth Shan Chapel, 157 Georges Drive, Napier on Saturday, 22 August at 1.30pm.
