AVERILL, George Rochford Hanson (Hanson). Hanson passed away peacefully on Saturday 8 August. Dearly loved husband of Anne and loved father of Tim and Susan, Morris, Marion (dec) and Sam and Belinda. Proud grandfather of six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family would like to sincerely thank the Ashcroft House team for their wonderful care of Hanson. In accordance with Hanson's wishes no funeral will be held.

LAMBERT, Margaret Gwenda. Passed away Sunday 9 August 2026. Dearly loved wife of Owen, and mum to Philip, Fiona and Katrina. SCOTT, James Kilgour (Jim). Jim passed away peacefully on 11 August 2026, aged 92 years, after a long and happy life. Much loved husband of Jeane and Dad to Chris and Laura, David and Marcia. Grandad to Patrick, Fergus, Callum, and Brianna, whom he loved dearly. He will be sorely missed by us all. In accordance with Jim's wishes a private cremation has been held. Dearly loved and treasured partner of Bernadette and devoted Poppa John to Lochlan. Much loved brother of Noeline, Alan (deceased), Ross, Ian and Trevor. Adored uncle to many nephews and nieces. SHANLEY, Colin George. After a full and active 87 years, Colin passed away peacefully at Hawkes Bay Hospital on Wednesday, 12 August 2026. Dearly loved husband to Shona, and father and father-in-law to Blair and Julia, and Sarah and Greg. Treasured Grandad to Kate, Georgie, Lily, and Stella. Brother and brother- in-law to Janet and Brian (deceased) Gilberton, Bruce and Shirley Shanley (deceased), and Owen (deceased) and Barbara Hutchinson. We are eternally grateful for Colin's life, and will treasure our time with him. Family and friends will be warmly invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate Colin's life, this will be held at a later date.

Beloved Nana of her 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A funeral for Margaret will be held at St Paul's Presbyterian Church, 89 Tennyson Street at 10am on Monday 17th August 2026 followed by interment at Western Hills Cemetery.
