HAMMOND, Nancy Ada. Nancy passed away peacefully on 7 July 2026, aged 99 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Digger. Loved mother of Dudley (deceased) and Laurence. Adored grandmother of Rachel, Vanessa, Jonathan, Rebecca, and Emma, and a much-loved great-grandmother. Nancy lived a long and full life and will be remembered with love for her strength, kindness, and devotion to her family. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Duart House for the kindness, dignity and care shown to Nancy in her final days.

A private cremation has been held. Those wishing to remember Nancy are warmly invited to join the family at Beth Shan Funerals, cnr Maraekakaho & Orchard Roads, Hastings on Wednesday, 15 July at 1.00pm. A livestream link of the service will be available and can be accessed through the Beth Shan Funerals website.
