George LARKING

LARKING, George Ernest. George passed away at Mary Doyle Reeve House on 27 June 2026, aged 81 years, with Zoe and family by his side after a long battle with cancer. Dearly loved husband of Zoe for 59 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Janine and Troy Yeoman, and Brendan and Stacey. Cherished grandad of five and step-grandad of four. Loved great-grandad of seven. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Mary Doyle Reeve House for the compassion and care shown to George and his family over the last seven weeks. Special thanks also to our GP, Dr Graeme McCrory, and the team at Cranford Hospice for their care and support of George over the past few years. Gone, but never forgotten.

A celebration of George's life will be held in the Pavilion at Summerset in the Orchard, Ada Street, Hastings, on Saturday, 11 July 2026, at 1.30 pm.
