LARKING, George Ernest. George passed away at Mary Doyle Reeve House on 27 June 2026, aged 81 years, with Zoe and family by his side after a long battle with cancer. Dearly loved husband of Zoe for 59 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Janine and Troy Yeoman, and Brendan and Stacey. Cherished grandad of five and step-grandad of four. Loved great- grandad of seven. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Mary Doyle Reeve House for the compassion and care shown to George and his family over the last seven weeks. Special thanks also to our GP, Dr Graeme McCrory, and the team at Cranford Hospice for their care and support of George over the past few years. Gone, but never forgotten. A celebration of George's life will be held in the Pavilion at Summerset in the Orchard, Ada Street, Hastings, on Saturday, 11 July 2026, at 1.30 pm.

HOSFORD, Adrian (Ade) Henry. Laird of Te Awanga. Ade passed away with a smile on his face on the 14th June 2026 at Cranford Hospice. Aged 76 years. Deeply loved husband of Sue, father and father in law of Blain and Eri, Connan and Hiromi, Liam and Beth. Loved Pop Ade of Frankie, Mohi, Georgie and Shu. Ade's funeral service will be held at the Te Awanga Hall on Friday 19th of June 2026 at 2pm. Refreshments will be at the Hall afterwards. In memory of Ade's social side there will be a party into the night at the Tiki Beach Bar. Many thanks to Cranford staff for all their loving care. Any donations to Cranford Hospice.
