CARDIE, Colin. 08/07/1958 - 30/07/2026 Colin passed away on Thursday, 30th July, following a sudden medical event. Son of Norm (deceased) and Joan Cardie. Loving husband of Karen for 46 years. Much loved dad and father-in-law of Marsha and Richard, and Daniel and Myra. Adored Poppa of Summer, Hazel, Chucky, Sapphire and Dakota. Treasured brother of Wayne and Bruce (deceased) and a loved brother-in-law and uncle. Dad was a true character with a cheeky personality and always keen for a good yarn. Known to so many throughout a lifetime of dedication to the liquor industry, he was a genuine, hardworking man whose generosity knew no bounds. Whether he was tinkering with his beloved tractors, admiring classic V8s, or spending time as the most devoted Poppa, he lived life to the fullest and brought warmth and laughter everywhere he went. He was the anchor of our family, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled.

A celebration of Colin's life will be held at the Napier Sailing Club, Ahuriri on Thursday August 6, 2026 at 2pm. A livestream of the service will be available at www. dunstalls.co.nz
