LYNCH, Margaret Mary Ann (Byford - Browne). Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Much loved wife of Pat, Mum to Marcia, Karen, Simon, Sonia, Matthew and Moira, Xavier and Nicola, Simon (dec), Emmet and Rita, and Louise. Beloved Nana of her 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A funeral for Margaret will be held at St Paul's Presbyterian Church, 89 Tennyson Street at 10am on Monday 17th August 2026 followed by interment at Western Hills Cemetery. Many thanks to Bupa Willowbank, Dr Sohnge and the Maraenui Medical Centre and Hawkes Bay Hospital Staff. Will be dearly missed. CARDIE, Colin. 08/07/1958 - 30/07/2026 Colin passed away on Thursday, 30th July, following a sudden medical event. Son of Norm (deceased) and Joan Cardie. Loving husband of Karen for 46 years. Much loved dad and father-in-law of Marsha and Richard, and Daniel and Myra. Adored Poppa of Summer, Hazel, Chucky, Sapphire and Dakota. Treasured brother of Wayne and Bruce (deceased) and a loved brother-in-law and uncle. Dad was a true character with a cheeky personality and always keen for a good yarn. Known to so many throughout a lifetime of dedication to the liquor industry, he was a genuine, hardworking man whose generosity knew no bounds. Whether he was tinkering with his beloved tractors, admiring classic V8s, or spending time as the most devoted Poppa, he lived life to the fullest and brought warmth and laughter everywhere he went. He was the anchor of our family, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled. PICKERING, Claire Janice nee Holden. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family. Dearly loved soul mate to Cyril and dearly loved mum to Aaron, and Tessa. Beloved Nana of Jack, Rebecca, Isaak deceased, Link, and Kayne. Many thanks to Amanda Cleland and the Cranford Hospice team for all your care.
