PERKINS, Barry John. Barry passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer, aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of Shirley, friends for 63 years and married for 61 years. Treasured Dad to Tony and Elva, Tina, and Tim and Staci. A much-loved Grandad and Great- Grandad. Barry was a founding member of the Taradale Club, life member of the Upper Hutt Hockey Club, Ulysses Club Member #2791, long term member of the Ahuriri Sunrise Rotary Club, and recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship.

A service to celebrate Barry's life will be held in the Beth Shan Chapel, 371 Gloucester Street, Taradale on Saturday, 19 September at 1.30pm.
