Passed away peacefully at Elms on Middlepark on Friday, June 12, 2026, in her 92nd year. Dearly loved Wife of the late George. Much loved mother of Kathleen (deceased), Kevin, Michael, Andrew, and Michelle. Much loved by her 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family is grateful to the staff at Elms on Middlepark for the great care she received. Messages to "Burgess Family" C/- PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Winifred at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church, 106 Main South Road, Sockburn, Christchurch, on Saturday, June 20, at 11.00am, followed by a private burial. The family has requested no flowers.
