Passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026, at Terrace View Retirement Village in Ashburton. Aged 73 years. Much loved wife of Paul. Cherished and adored mother and mother-in-law of Suzanne and Daryl; and Mark and Tracey. Loved grandmother of Jack and Lara; and Jessica, and Bella, and will be missed by her great-grandson Oscar. Valmai's family would like to thank the staff at Terrace View for their love and care of Valmai over the past few months.

A memorial service to celebrate Valmai's life will be held at the Ashburton Club & MSA, 231 Burnett Street, Ashburton, on Tuesday, September 1, commencing at 1.00pm.
