Passed away on June 22, 2026 (aged 88), after being denied bowel cancer follow-up due to her age, and while waiting for treatment for its recurrence. Beloved wife of the late John Everitt. Cherished mother of Juliet, Simeon, the late Olivia and stepmother to Christine. Much loved grandmother of Denholm, James, Chloe, Sebastian and Amelia, and a great-grandmother. Treasured step-grandmother to Stuart, Andrew, Charlotte and Tish. Dear sister to Garth, Caryl, and the late Peter and Tony. Admired and loved by many in the community.

In lieu of flowers, just your love is enough. A casual memorial will be held at the Kaiapoi Club, Kaiapoi, on Wednesday, July 1, at 2.00pm.
