Robin ROSS

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Hospice South Canterbury with family by his side. Dearly loved husband of Gillian for 51 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Tim and Leah, Charlotte and Matt Wittington, and Katherine. Much loved Grandad Rusty to Rose, George, Vincent, Sophia, and Emily. Dearly loved twin brother of Rozanna (dec), and Dave McDonald, Gaileen, Annette, Donald and Valmai Ross. Respected brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, friend, colleague, workmate and club member to many. We owe an incredible debt of thanks to the wonderful, caring Hospice staff and volunteers (including Heath the cat) and to the staff at Timaru Public Hospital for their excellent care. Many thanks also for the kindness shown to Rusty from the staff at Triton Hearing.

A celebration of Rusty's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru on Tuesday, August 25 at 1.00pm.
