Peacefully at Highfield Rest Home, Timaru, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in his 83rd year surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Elaine for 61 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Martin and Jo, the late Joanne, Louise and Shaun, Meg and Stu Piddington, Simon and Fiona, loved and adored Granddad Robbie of all his grandchildren. Special thanks to all the staff at Highfield Rest Home for their wonderful care of Robbie. A Requiem Mass for Robbie will be held at St Thomas Catholic Church corner Wai-iti and Mountain View Roads, Timaru, on Wednesday, August 19, at 11.00am thereafter private interment at the Timaru Cemetery. A rosary will be held in the Church on Tuesday, August 18, at 5.00pm.
