Passed away at Nurse Maude Hospice after a short illness in his 84th year. Son of the late May and Selwyn Holland and brother of Daevid (deceased). Son-in-law of the late Reta and Ian Stark and brother-in-law to Butch and Pauline Stark, and uncle to Jason and Jen, and Corey and Penelope. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Bev. Much loved and respected father and father-in-law to Hamish and Bronwyn, and Nichola (Holland) and Dave Taylor. Treasured and loved Grandad to Oakley, Cooper and Madison. Special thanks to the staff at Ward 11, Christchurch Hospital and Nurse Maude Hospice for the care of Richard.

Those we love don't go away

They walk beside us every day

Unseen, unheard but always near

Still loved, still missed and very dear.
