Petrea HESLIN

Petrea fought her battle with courage and grace, and passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Nurse Maude Hospice on Monday, August 17, 2026, aged 55 years. Beloved wife of Johnny. Devoted mum of Adalin. Cherished daughter of Joe and Joyce Graham, and daughter-in-law of Lucy and the late Ken Heslin. Dearly loved sister of Sharmaine (dec), Chris and Roisin, Leanne and Tony, Carolyn, and sister-in-law of Ken and Jan, Graeme and Lucy, Kate, Paul and Astrid. Treasured aunty to all her nieces and nephews. Petrea was adored and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

A service to celebrate Petrea's life will be held at The Mount Pleasant Centre, 3 McCormacks Bay Road, Mt Pleasant on Wednesday, August 26, at 11.30am, followed by interment at Memorial Park Cemetery. A heartfelt thank you to the teams at Christchurch Oncology Department, Nurse Maude Hospice and the Cancer Society for your gentle care and support of Petrea.
