Passed away unexpectedly, in his 92nd year. Much loved husband of the late Valda Hitaua for 49 years, much loved father of Julia (deceased), and Suzanne. Dearly loved grandfather of Leela, Aaron, Derek, Ethan, and Mariah, and treasured great-grandfather of Tyler, and Dylan. Loved eldest son of the late Andrew and Mavis Craw, and eldest brother and brother-in-law of Wendy (deceased) and Alan Coleman, and the late Dean Craw.

Peter will be greatly missed by all his family

Sincere thanks to the emergency response teams, and to the public who demonstrated such care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John in memory of Peter would be appreciated and may be made online at stjohn.org.nz. In accordance with family wishes, a private service and burial will be held.
