Patrick McGLINCHEY

23.1.1946 – 12.6.2026

We have lost Patrick, a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, husband and friend. Born of Irish blood and a kiwi heart, Pat carried the steady stoicism of a rumbling V8 along with a keen eye and a ship sharp wit. He loved a wide road, a cracking team made try, a cuppa and a good book. He suffered no fools and took a backwards step to no one but was a solid counsel in times of trouble. We wish him safe travels and blessings and the hope that his next road rises as true as the ones he shared with us. Friends and family welcome at the Irish Society Hall, Domain Tce, Christchurch, on Thursday, June 18 at 7.00pm.
