Passed peacefully on July 15, 2026, in Christchurch, aged 90 years. Loved wife of the late Brian, dear mother and mother-in-law of Elisabeth and Gary, Simon and Linda and Jamie, precious granny to Christina and Mackenzie, Joe and Lucas and special great-granny to Ava and Mason. Messages may be addressed to "The Barrett Family", c/- PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch 8148.

A private cremation has been held for Mary, as per her wishes.
