Passed away at home, with dignity and courage, on June 9, 2026, surrounded with the love of his family. Loved husband of Shirley (for 42 years), treasured father and father-in-law of Lauren and Julian (Frankfurt), respected step-father of Matthew (Christchurch), cherished Grandad of Aroha, Luca and Bella, and admired brother of the late Bruce (Poole, UK) and late Gary (Taupo). Friend to all.

A private cremation has been held and a remembrance gathering will be held at a later date.
