Passed gently, at Windsor Park Care Home, Gore, on Friday, June 19, 2026, aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late John, loved mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother of Suzanne and Chris, David, Michael, and Krista Loach (Christchurch); Alex and Jane, Dean, Julie, Vanessa (dec), and Glen; Robert and Phillipa, Tim, Sarah, Georgia and John; Malcolm, Jim (dec) and Jeanie; John and Kate, Millie, Guy, and Jonty. Great-Grandma of Lance, Peyton, Harrison, Mahia, Nyxyn, Mackenzie, Sophie, Alexia, Hudson (dec), Henry, Kate, Dominic, Lucas, and Delilah. Loved daughter of Percy (dec) and Grace (dec) McGrouther, adored big sister and sister-in-law of Shirley and Doug Stott (dec), Cliff (dec) and Jean, Joy and Peter (dec) Roulston, Howard (dec) and Elizabeth, and Jim (dec) and Sandra. Loved by all her nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Lois's life will be held in the Tapanui Presbyterian Church, 1 Sussex Street, Tapanui, on Friday, July 3 at 1.00pm, followed by light refreshments. Livestream link available at www.southernfuneralhome.co.nz.

In lieu of flowers, donations for West Otago St John Ambulance would be welcomed. Thank you to Windsor Park Care Home for their attentive care of Lois.
