(late of Darfield). It is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing of June, who left us peacefully at The Oaks. Dearly loved wife of the late Selwyn, with whom she shared many treasured memories, loved stepmother and Grandma to the Robertson family. Cherished daughter of Elsie and Alexander McKay (both deceased) of Halkett, much loved sister and sister-in-law of Charles and Barbara, Melville (Tom) and Grace, Ngaire and Ronald, Donald and Beryl, and Bruce and Daphne - all now deceased. She held each of them close in her heart. A fun-loving aunty to her nieces, nephews, and their families. Her humour, generosity, and ability to make every gathering brighter will be remembered fondly across generations. May she rest in peace. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at The Oaks for their loving care, respect, and gentleness shown to June. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late June Robertson, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A service to celebrate June's life will be held in Trinity Church, corner McLaughlins and Bangor Roads, Darfield, on Monday, August 3, at 1.00pm, followed by burial at Kirwee Cemetery.
