Joy left us peacefully on August 20, 2026, aged 76 years. Dearly loved wife of Lawrence. Loved and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Rachael and Alex, Wendy and Gareth, and Helen and Dean. Adored Nana of Lexi, Ben, Grace, Liam, Ollie and Caelan. Daughter of the late Geoff and Phyllis Neal, and loved sister to Dawn and Phillip.

A celebration of Joy's life will be held at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Henry Street, Blenheim, on Tuesday, August 25 at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation.

The service will be livestreamed and available on the Cloudy Bay website.
