On July 4, 2026 at Margaret Wilson Home, surrounded by his family, aged 84. Dearly loved husband of Sue, much loved father and father-in-law of John and Lyn, Emma and Phil, Kate and Adam Evans, dearly loved granddad of Jake, Toni, and Sam; Cassie, and Ben; Jack and Brylie, and Wills.

A massive thank you to the staff at Margaret Wilson for the amazing care given to John over the past months.

A service for John will be held at St Mary's Anglican Church, Timaru, on Thursday July 9, at 1:30pm, followed by private cremation.
