Passed away at Christchurch hospital, August 18, 2026, surrounded by love after a short illness (aged 86). Beloved daughter of the late Bob and Thelma Burrell, treasured wife of John and beautiful Mum of Mark and Julie, and mother-in-law of Belinda and Craig, adored Nana of Jacob, Travis, Brittany, Jess and Hunter. Great-Nanny of Valentine, Billy and Daphne. Messages may be addressed to 'The late Joan Dell's family', C/- PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch 8148. As per Joan's wishes a private remembrance to celebrate her life has been held.
