It is with sadness that the passing of Jennifer Doreen (Christchurch, South Island) is shared. Jennifer passed away on July 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Jennifer will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Jennifer by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Jennifer is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Jennifer’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.

She was predeceased by: her husband Colin Atkinson; her parents, Joan Melrose and Ron Melrose; and her sibling Allison (Stephen Johnston). She is survived by: her children, Alastair (Gina) and Hamish (Joanne); her grandchildren, Riley, Dexter and Ruby; and her sibling Shirley (John Falloon).

A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Westpark (467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand).
