On September 7, 2026, passed away peacefully at Ilam Life Care, aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband of Velda and father and father-in-law of Leanne and Jim, and Grant and Katrina. Much loved "Harry" of Jemma and Nic, Kate, Emily and Macy. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Ilam Life Care for their kindness and care. In accordance with Laurie's wishes a private cremation has been held.

A celebration of Laurie's life will be held at a later date. Messages may be addressed to the family of the late Laurie Keenan c/- Hope funerals Christchurch, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042.
