On September 11, 2026, aged 82 years, Gary passed peacefully at WesleyCare, Christchurch. Dearly remembered father of Colin. Loved and cherished son of the late Kelvin and Lorraine, and brother of Terry (deceased), Maire (deceased), Michele, Colleen and Denis Pasfield (deceased). Remembered grandad to his grandchildren and much-loved uncle to all his nephews and nieces.

May Gary rest in eternal peace.

A service for Gary will be celebrated at St Gregory's Catholic Church, 26 Cotswold Ave, Christchurch, on Thursday, September 17, at 12.00 noon, followed by refreshments at the church and then interment at Ruru Lawn Cemetery.
