Passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Jack Inglis Rest Home, aged 85. Dearly loved wife of Murray for 60 years. Loved mother of Sally, Kirsten and Pete; and Fiona and Pete. Loved Grandma of Sam and Hannah, Luc and Charlotte and Alice and William. Sister of Murray, Keith and Des; and loved by all her nieces and nephews. The family wish to thank the staff of Golden Bay Community Health and Jack Inglis Rest Home for their care of Elaine over the past few months.

A celebration of Elaine's life will be held at St Cuthberts Church, Collingwood on Saturday, August 15, at 1.30pm.

A memorial service will be held in Christchurch at a later date. Messages may be sent c/- Matuku Funerals, Takaka.
